Terms of use

The agreement between you and OurMeds. It is short on purpose — most of what people want to know is what the app is not for, what the free tier covers, and how to stop paying.

Last updated 21 August 2026.

OurMeds is operated by PRJ Software Solutions LLC, a limited liability company registered in Pennsylvania, United States. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean PRJ Software Solutions LLC, and your agreement is with it rather than with any individual.

OurMeds is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It is a tracking aid that helps carers remember whether a dose has been given. It does not check doses, schedules or drug interactions, and it must not be used as the only means of administering medication. Always follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency, or if you suspect an overdose or a reaction, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

What you are responsible for

Everything you enter. OurMeds records what you tell it and shows it back to the people you share it with; it does not verify any of it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the medications, amounts and schedules you add, for who you give access to, and for all medication decisions.

Reminders are best effort. They are local notifications on your own device and can be delayed, silenced or missed — by Focus modes, by a device being off, or by iOS itself. Do not rely on them as the only prompt to give a dose.

Your account

You need an account, and you must be old enough to hold one where you live. Keep your password to yourself: anyone who can sign in as you can see and change every record you can. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, under About & Safety → Delete account, and the app tells you exactly what that removes before you confirm.

Households and sharing

Access is granted per person you track, not per household, and it can be withdrawn at any time. The owner of a household administers it. If the owner deletes their account while other people are still in that household, the household is handed to one of them rather than deleted — a record other carers depend on should outlive one person leaving.

Free, and paid

Tracking one person, on your own, is free for as long as you like. It is not a trial and it is not restricted: unlimited medications, unlimited history, and every feature that applies to one person.

The OurMeds Family subscription adds more than one person and sharing with other carers. It is offered monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy.

If a subscription ends while you are over the free allowance, the household becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, trimmed or hidden: every dose, medication and note stays visible to everyone who could see it before. What stops is logging new doses and sharing, and renewing turns both back on where they left off.

If prices change, the change applies from your next renewal and Apple will ask you to confirm it before charging.

Acceptable use

Use OurMeds for tracking medication for yourself and people you care for. Do not use it to store records about people who have not agreed to it, to break the law, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Ending it

You can stop using OurMeds at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms, or to harm somebody. Where we can, we will say why first.

Liability

OurMeds is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you, the change will be noted here with a new date and shown in the app before it takes effect.
